Ship production
like a senior.

Taught by a senior cloud engineer, not a content creator.

Lead Instructor
A senior professional with production experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Years of hands-on work building, scaling, and debugging cloud infrastructure for enterprises and SaaS companies. The same person on incident calls at 2 AM is the one teaching you what actually matters — not what looks good on slides.

Built for engineers who want real outcomes, not certificates.

★★★★★

The first DevOps program where I actually shipped something. By week two I had a real CI/CD pipeline running. Worth every dollar.

I was about to drop $3K on a different bootcamp. This taught me more in 15 days than I'd learned in 3 months of Udemy courses.

The "break things on purpose" sessions were brutal — and exactly what I needed for on-call interviews. Got the offer two weeks later.

Questions, answered.

How much prior experience do I need?
If you've built a small web app, used Git from the command line, and can navigate a Linux terminal — you're ready. You don't need any prior AWS or DevOps experience. We start from launching your first EC2 instance and build up from there.
What does the daily live session look like?
Every weekday morning, 8:30 to 10:00 AM Eastern Time. First 30 minutes: concept + architecture. 45 minutes: hands-on build alongside the instructor. 15 minutes: break. Final 30 minutes: debugging together, Q&A, and your daily build assignment. By the end of every session you've shipped something deployable.
Will I rack up huge AWS bills doing this?
No. Every project is engineered to fit AWS Free Tier — t2.micro / t3.micro EC2, a few MB of S3, k3s instead of EKS. We teach a strict shutdown discipline and budget alarm setup on Day 1. Expected total AWS cost across 15 days: under $5 CAD if you follow the playbook.
I'm in Toronto / Vancouver / Montreal. Will the timing work for me?
8:30–10:00 AM Eastern is morning in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal. In Vancouver, that's 5:30–7:00 AM Pacific — early but doable for a 15-day stretch if you're motivated. For everywhere east of Manitoba, it's a normal morning slot.
What if I miss a session?
Every session is recorded and posted to the cohort Slack within 12 hours. The hands-on assignment is still yours to complete — the instructor reviews your code regardless. You can fully catch up if you miss 1–2 days. If you anticipate missing 3+ days, please email us before enrolling so we can recommend the right cohort.
What's your refund policy?
Full refund within 3 days of the cohort starting, no questions asked. Just email support@cloudspikes.ca and you'll have your money back within 5 business days. Refunds are not available after Day 3 of the cohort.
How is this different from Udemy / Coursera courses?
Pre-recorded courses optimize for video views, not your outcomes. This is live, interactive, capped at 15 students, and the instructor sees your code every day. The trade-off: less flexibility (you show up at 8:30 AM EST), more accountability, real feedback. Most people choose this format when they've already tried 2–3 self-paced courses and want to actually finish something.
Can my employer pay for this?
Yes — we issue invoices for company reimbursement. After enrolling, email support@cloudspikes.ca with your employer's billing address and we'll send a formal invoice for your records. $249 CAD is well within most companies' personal development budget thresholds.
What happens after I pay?
Immediately: Stripe receipt by email. Within 24 hours: a welcome email with Slack invite, pre-cohort setup checklist (AWS account, GitHub, basic tools), and a calendar invite for May 25 at 8:30 AM EST. Total setup time before Day 1: about 45 minutes.
